Carrie T. Sands, D.C.
Carrie Sands is a native of Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedicine from Western Michigan University and her doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She has been in practice since 2001. Dr. Sands has set up Sands Chiropractic, a section of Lakewood Health Partners in Lakewood, Colorado and then found her way back to Michigan to practice with her mentor, Dr. Dean Bender.

This is a "hands on" practice. The primary therapy used is motion palpation. We also utilize McKenzie rehabilitation, exercise protocols and cox flexion-distraction.

Currently Dr. Sands is working to fulfill her dream of building a chiropractic wellness center. Dr. Sands has continued with her efforts to educate the public; community and serving others is the basis of her practice.

Dr. Geoffrey Chau
Dr. Geoffrey Chau first came to Kalamazoo in 1992 to work at Bronson Methodist Hospital after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. He went on to earn his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001. Dr. Chau then returned to Michigan. He practiced in Grand Rapids prior to comming back to Kalamazoo.

Dr. Chau utilizes Koren Specific Technique (KST) to locate and correct subluxations anywhere in the body while the patient assumes any posture or state (physical or emotional). KST practitioners are able to assess the entire structural system including the cranial bones.

KST's light force adjustment is comfortable for patients of all ages. Children and the elderly especially like the gentle approach. Currently Dr. Chau is one of only 3 KST practitioners in Southwest Michigan.

Nate Danis, M.T.
Nate Danis, M.T. has been our lead massage therapist since 2005. Nate specializes in deep tissue, range of motions stretches & rehabilitative massage. He received his diploma from Everest Institute (formerly known as Olympia Institute) in 2004.
